Which fairytale figure would you like to be? Princess Tuvstarr, the prince, the troll or the fairy? This summer we have the costumes for most of the characters in John Bauer’s fairy tales. Wear the costume during the whole adventure – you play the leading part.

The world famous artist John Bauer was born in Jönköping in 1882. Experience different aspects of Bauer’s artistry through his paintings, sketches and our unique archive material.
John Bauer fairytale images are not displayed in the exhibition. The pictures will get new frames. We will inform as soon as the images are restored!
